Rachel Cundiff, LSW
Rachel, LSW, is a dedicated clinician with 12 years of experience walking alongside children, families, and individuals navigating complex life circumstances. Her path into this work has been shaped by both professional calling and personal conviction — a combination that shows up in everything she does.
Rachel earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University in 2014 and went on to work with children, families, and the juvenile justice system. That hands-on experience deepened her commitment to the field and led her back to school, where she earned her Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2019. She holds her License in Social Work (LSW) in the state of Illinois.

At Gateway, Rachel specializes in working with children and families, bringing a relational, trauma-informed lens to each family she serves. She understands firsthand how the dynamics of family life, connection, and everyday stress shape a child's experience — and she meets each family where they are.

Outside of the office, Rachel is a wife and mother of three. She and her family live a full homestead life — homeschooling their children, taking on home projects, and finding meaning in the rhythms of everyday work together. That grounded, relational way of living is something she brings into her clinical work as well.
