Gateway Family Services of Illinois is a team of passionate, driven and highly trained professionals and well-versed in neuroscience and the impact of trauma on the brain.  Bringing together over twenty years of working with children and families in a variety of settings, this team brings a unique and comprehensive approach to their training. 

 

Gateway Family Services is systemically focused to aid the entire family in making sustainable changes.  This systemic approach is consistent in the teachings as they understand the need to not only address and equip the individual, but also to address the systems surrounding the clients and their families. 

 

Clinical staff at Gateway Family Services have completed Phase I and Phase II/Train the Trainer with the ChildTrauma Academy.  This clinical team also has experience organizing, developing and implementing training at a local, national and international level.  Recently developing and launching the Rising Tide Conference with 13 sites around the world.  Gateway Family Services clinical staff also provides online and in-person training and consultation in the Natural Lifemanship Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy model.
